As a parent of a special needs child, I know firsthand of the struggles both parents and students face in terms of educating a student with special needs. Over the years, I've worked closely with many students with learning disabilities and diagnoses, including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, dyslexia, among others. I draw on a wealth of experience from both my son and my students of how to work with students with these classifications in order to boost their weaknesses while reinforcing their strengths.
